random ramblings

Okay technically we started on a Friday but watching 2 of the movies on a Saturday… roffles!
So the plan then was to watch Kick-ass movie with some of my sister’s friends & unfortunately it seems some of them bailed out and just decided to just rent some movies. Chocolate, The Proposal & Fame.
First off Chocolate… Just click the link cuz I’m so not making a synopsis when one is already available :P I’m lazy that way…
Story wise, it’s good but not the way it was presented because it took us 1/4 or so of the movie to finally get what’s happening. Though truthfully the storyline’s just secondary to us because we’re actually looking forward to the fight scenes which we’re awesome. xD! Overall it was an 8/10 for me xD
Next up is The Proposal
After watching that all the muay thai skillzorz *I* needed something to calm me down… lol so we popped in The Proposal instead of OngBak2. (didn’t catch that movie but maybe next time I’ll watch that one). I really hoping that this movie would be really nice compared to the previous movie Sandra had, All About Steve. I really didn’t like that movie much *sad face*. Anyway, for me the movie didn’t disappoint, it’s funny and it’s not far-fetched from the reality about using fixed marriages to get out of something. The dorama parts are placed quite well enough so that the comedy parts ain’t too overwhelming and I guess something to make the climax more … climatic I guess. LOL! it’s a 9/10 for me
last was Fame
It was a so-so movie in my opinion. Main reason I wanted to watch it actually because of Anna Maria. The movie had so much going on, that I guess trying to fit it in a couple of hours movie isn’t enough. It was really condensed that it didn’t give enough background for everyone’s story. I like the performances in the movie but most of the time I just ended up fast forwarding. :/ 5/10 for me… (it would be lower if not for the nice singing and dancing~)
I did see Cabin Fever 2 last Thursday…
Because I didn’t see the first movie, I had to ask someone to give me a lil bit of a background from the first movie. Anyway, it has a lot of “shit why did you do that” and “zomgahs” and “You’re fucking stupid” moments, but hey it’s a horror movie aren’t they filled with those kind of stuffs. xD Never goes wrong… lol Though it really does annoy the hell out of you xD!!! for me it’s a 5/10 just because of those moments LOL
